Looking for some non-Street Fighter fighting, but still want some Capcom flavor? Well you are in luck. Capcom announced at the 2012 New York Comic-Con the release of Darkstalkers Resurrection. Coming to the PSN early 2013 is not one, but two of Capcom’s classic monster fighting games. Darkstalkers Resurrection will include Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3. For only $14.99 you can once again wreak havoc on foes with Morrigan, Demitri, Felicia and a cast of 15 other monstrous fighters .
There are new features included in the two games: GGPO-enabled online play, HD graphic filtering, replay sharing, Spectator Mode, trophies, and the standard unlockables (concept art, videos, etc). GGPO-enabled online play significantly reduces lag. Introduced with Street Fighter III: Third Strike, GGPO-enabled online play expands its capabilities with Darkstalkers Resurrection by adding region matchmaking, ping lock and ping display.
Need to master that combo? Then take the fight to Challenge/Tutorial mode. Want to study what the competition is bringing? Learn something by watching your friends and fellow fighters in Spectator Mode. Need to flaunt that match? Post it with replay sharing. While it is not the sequel that fans have been asking for, Darkstalkers Resurrection knocks the dust off a classic Capcom fighting game that might satiate your fighting game itch.
