“Free” Games Blow-Out Coming to Plus Members This Month

With E3 2012 in full swing, CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America (SCEA) Jack Tretton revealed at the Sony Press Conference that Plus members will be getting a bunch of titles throughout June at no extra charge. Tretton announced that twelve games will be available for download for Plus subscribers, however thirteen titles were actually shown at the presentation. Refer to the images above and below to count for yourself.

The images show the following titles:

  • LittleBigPlanet 2 *
  • inFamous 2 *
  • Saints Row 2 *
  • Choplifter HD
  • Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light
  • Sideway: New York
  • Space Marine (Warhammer 40,000)
  • Just Cause 2
  • Zombie Apocalypse
  • Hard Corps: Uprising
  • Virtua Fighter 5
  • Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One
  • An undecipherable title

* Available starting tomorrow

The games will be available at very limited times throughout the month, being switched out in rotation. No mention of whether this deal will reach international Stores at this point, however it shouldn’t be entirely ruled out. That said, it’s likely some titles may be replaced with others depending on regions (much like most Plus freebies).

We’ll keep you updated of any further developments regarding this amazing deal.

UPDATE: Upon further inspection and some heavy sleuthing, it would seem the “undecipherable title” mentioned above is an alternate image of Space Marine. This would bring the number of titles back down to the originally announced 12.
