Resident Evil 6 patch to fix loading issues goes live

Resident Evil 6 came out last Tuesday, October 2, both in brick and mortar stores and digitally on the PlayStation Network. Sadly, many in the UK ended up having issues with their digital copy of the game not loading thanks to the day-1 patch that was released.

When PlayStation EU became aware of the issue, they suggested players to uninstall and reinstall the game and decline geting the patch. While this resolved the problem with the game not loading, it blocked off players with the digital version of the game from playing with those with the disc-based version. That’s a big problem to have when your game is so centered around cooperative play as Resident Evil 6 is.

Thankfully, Sony and Capcom put out a patch on October 3rd that fixes all the issues brought up by the previous patch. So, are you playing RE6? What are your thoughts on it? Let us know in the comments section below.
