Sony includes PayPal Payment Method for PlayStation Network, but not in U.S.

Sony has rolled out another payment method for PlayStation Network users in the form of PayPal, but Sony has not yet made the PayPal payment method available to PSN users in the United States.

The move happens after issues with PlayStation Network security affected users last year, so it remains to be seen how popular the PayPal option will be among those who have access to it.

For those that do have access to PayPal on the PlayStation Network, there is a catch. Your PayPal and PlayStation Network accounts must be registered in the same country. Also worthy of note is that users will not have access to the PayPal payment method from the PlayStation 3 and will have to login to their account on a computer to access the payment method.

Sony has not commented on whether or not the PayPal payment method will be coming to U.S. users.
