PSNFancast Episode 9 – Imminent Segue

E3 is over, but to Angelo Valdivia, Chris Hague and Josiah Renaudin, that just means it’s time to discuss all the games and announcements from a crazy week. New releases and news of the world are discussed, but similar to last week’s show, the focus is on the gaming Christmas that is the Electronic Entertainment Expo.

What games impressed the staff at PSNFans? What was missing that everyone was looking forward to, and did Sony do what it needed to do at this 2012 show? All of these questions are answered, along with some serious fan feedback.

Please subscribe, rate and review the podcast on iTunes. We really appreciate it! Check us out on Twitter (@PSNfans) for some great contests, and don’t forget to send us questions to be read on the next show! Tweet at us with PSN-related inquiries, as well as 140-character opinions on your favorite game from E3 for our “This Week’s Game” segment. Also check out the latest edition of the XBLA Fancast for even more audio goodness (after you finish this podcast, of course).

Obstacles Land on Bang Bang Racing’s Streets

Tracks clean of obstacles such as oil and exploding barrels may be common in most racing scenes, but where’s the fun in that? Digital Reality likes a little clutter on the streets, and that’s exactly what the new trailer for Bang Bang Racing displays.

It’s not just about the speed in Bang Bang Racing, as tight and dangerous tracks require a high level of technical efficiency if the man behind the wheel hopes to reach the finish line. 20 vehicles and four specific classes take advantage of the intuitive control system and physics-based gameplay, and with this variety comes enough multiplayer action to keep any adrenaline junkie sitting on the edge of the seat.

Expect to see Bang Bang Racing and its many vehicular obstacles by the end of the year.

Bang Bang Racing overhauls their website

Digital Reality, the developers behind the hit SkyDrift, have just updated their website for Bang Bang Racing, making it easier on the eye. The update also came with something else for the eye, a few new screenshots. We get to finally see a detailed view of all the maps, as well as a few high action shots of this top-down view racer. With Bang Bang Racing being very reminiscent of classic racing hits like RC Pro and Off-Road, do you think it will have the horsepower to keep up with other racers in its market.
