Wheels of Destruction, being developed by Gelid Games, is shooting to be more then just your run of the mill battle car arena game. Seeming to take more of a FPS-in-car feel with modes to match, they have created distinct classes built for different and distinct uses. In this update we get to meet ‘The Soldier’, an all around kind of vehicle, built to handle any situation substantially. The Soldier is just one of four classes in Wheels of Destruction - the others being Assassin, Heavy and Scout. You can pick up this high paced battler starting next week Tuesday, March 27, 2012 for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network.

Gelid Games’ Wheels of Destruction, a class-based car combat game coming soon to PSN, has a new goodie to share with the public. The Heavy class has just been introduced, and with it comes a thick layer of armor that will help plow right through your enemies. While size and defense both matter, this specific class also comes with a deadly rocket launcher and a blazingly effective flamethrower. Its stats help make it a beefy and effective choice, but with the ability to change your class on the fly, swapping to a more speedy and deadly vehicle is quick and simple. More vehicles will be announced in the near future, as a class “that sets itself apart with exclusive tactical functionality” has already been teased. Stay tuned.
