Far Cry 3 Multiplayer Beta Coming this Summer

Far Cry 3 may be a full-retail release, but a beta for the highly anticipated multiplayer will be appearing on the PlayStation Network this summer.

This two-week test through Ubisoft’s lush jungles will include 16-player matches, six unique classes, and a handful maps and modes that will be featured in the final product. It won’t be open to the public, but anyone dropping some cash on the soon-to-be-released Ghost Recon: Future Soldier will have guaranteed access. Fans can also fight for the 500 keys on the developer’s Facebook page, but there are sure to be other methods revealed soon.

If you’re not a fan of the yearly Call of Duty, Battlefield and Medal of Honor releases, Far Cry 3 may be the change of pace you’ve been looking for. Sign up now for your ticket to the jungle.
