Big Sky: Infinity Traveling to PSN

The independent PC game Really Big Sky will no longer exclusively bring bullet-hell goodness to PC gamers, as the newly titled Big Sky: Infinity is making its way to the PlayStation 3 in the near future.

More than just a name changed, Infinity will add a few new modes to the original game as well as new enemies. Developer Boss Baddie is teaming up with Voofoo Studios and Riptide Publishing to create this updated version, so expect all of the painful difficulty of the original title with a slew of new content. A Vita version is also expected to be released, and while no price has been discussed for either version, expect it to match the PC figure of$9.99.

Look for it in the coming week both on the PlayStation 3 and the Vita.

Big Sky Infinity Explodes onto PS3 and PS Vita

Last year saw the PC release of Really Big Sky, a stylish dual joystick shooter from developer Boss Baddie. And in a recent press release, they announced their console and handheld debut will be Big Sky Infinity, an updated version of the same game. Not much is known about any additional features, but new modes were mentioned as well as touch screen functionality for the PS Vita. No set release date is known, but if you’re interested, there’s a demo available at the official website.
