Under Defeat HD coming to PSN

The Dreamcast shoot ‘em up Under Defeat, developed by G.rev, has received a makeover and is on its way to PSN. Under Defeat HD will feature updated graphics, a two-player mode, and what is being called New Order Mode, which take advantage of HD televisions by displaying the game on screen in 16:9.

The localization of Under Defeat HD means that for the first time players will be able to experience the original Under Defeat in their native language.

The game will release both on PSN and in stores for the PS3 this fall and can be picked up for $29.99. Players who purchase a physical copy of the game will have access to a few perks. Grabbing a retail copy will get players a digital art book, all current DLC and patches, the soundtrack to Under Defeat HD, and a letter from the CEO of G.rev and the game’s executive producer, Hiroyuki Maruyama.
