US PlayStation Store Update for 5/15

There are quite a variety of new releases to look for on the PlayStation Store this week. To start there’s Q Games’ latest release PixelJunk 4AM, a music game which utilizes the PlayStation Move. The experience has the developer’s signature style and unique feel, and is priced at $9.99.

In addition, those looking for something a bit more traditional will find the second episode of Sonic The Hedgehog 4. Anyone familiar with the first installment knows this series is reminiscent of the 2d original, providing an old-school Sonic experience for $14.99.

Rock of Ages, the oddly satisfying mixture of tower-defense and rolling ball mechanics is also finding it’s way onto the PlayStation Network almost a year after it’s initial release. Fans of ACE Team, whose previous games include the first person fever dream Zeno Clash, will know what to expect from the tone of this release and can get it for $9.99.

If a full PS3 game is what you’re searching for, the recent release Prototype 2 is available in digital form for $59.99. To sweeten the deal this version comes with the Radnet Access Pack, granting the player access to digital content set to be released in the near future. Other newly added PS3 games include Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood:Complete Edition for $24.99, Prince of Persia Complete Edition for $19.99, Far Cry 2 for $19.99, and Goldeneye 007 Reloaded for $59.99.

Also, Ubisoft is treating customers with a sale on a large portion of their PSN products. The items on sale are each 30% off, with PlayStation Plus members getting 50%. A full list of the Ubisoft content on sale can be found here. Plus members will also find a 40% discount on Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and 50% off Goldeneye 007 Reloaded.
