We here at PSN Fans love news: release dates, gameplay trailers, hardware details… You name it. However we can’t always report on everything that trickles out of the news machine, which is where Weekly News Catch-Up comes in. Here we cover some of the stories that didn’t make it to the front page the first time around.
Games on tap this week: Dust 514, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Red Johnson Chronicles: All Against One, Blood Knights, Mugen Souls, Tokyo Jungle, SunFlowers, Spelunker HD

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (Neoseeker)
Launch has been delayed, with no official word as to why it was delayed or when we can expect to see it launched. When questioned about the situation, Valve had this to say:
Unfortunately Counter-Strike has not been made available on the European PlayStation Store today and we apologise to those of you who were looking forward to playing it. We hope to resolve this issue as quickly as possible and will let you know if the situation changes.

Tokyo Jungle (US PlayStation Blog)
This one recently released in Japan and is now coming across the waters to us. What is it, well it is a game based on post-apocalyptic Tokyo where only animals live. You will have two modes: Story mode where “you’ll play as a range of different animals…while unraveling the mystery of mankind’s disappearance” and survival mode where “you will hunt, occupy territories, and produce offspring”. We can’t make stuff like this up folks, just check out the trailer below for yourself. But hey, maybe you’re all like “oh hell, yeah, I just gotta have this” who are we to judge, then it can be yours September 25, 2012 for the price of $14.99 and a memory you will never forget.
SunFlowers

Spelunker HD (Gaming Examiner)
