It seems like more and more titles are taking advantage of the cross-play functionality of the PS3 and PS Vita, and Clever Beans’ When Vikings Attack is no exception. Like many other cross-play titles, one purchase nets you both the PS3 and Vita versions, and saves will be shared between the two.
When Vikings Attack is essentially dodgeball. The campaign has the player control a mob of people whose goal is to throw any object they can find at invading groups of vikings. Mob size indicates your health and lets you know how large of an object can be picked up. But, larger objects will slow you down and make you vulnerable to environmental obstacles. There will also be local and on-line multiplayer for up to four people. Players will be able to use any combination of PS3 controllers and Vitas they so desire. No price has been announced, but you can look for When Vikings Attack later this fall.
